ABOUT
Logan Presbyterian Church is a diverse community of ordinary individuals who bravely place their trust in Jesus, allowing Him to perform extraordinary feats.

THE LOGAN STORY
WE STAND FOR LIVES CHANGED BY CHRIST
Our Church started with a small group of people in 1866 who used to congregate in an old building near the current church spot. Today, over 159 years later we give praise and honor to God for our accomplishments. Thanks be to God!
Imagine a church that prioritizes others. This mindset centered on serving others has not only influenced our identity but also continues to shape us. As we embarked on establishing and reaching various communities across the region, our mission has remained unwavering. We welcome all people to Christ, equip them for ministry to share our faith, and to live out Christ's love in the world.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe that church isn't just about a building with a cross. It's about people's relationship with God and each other.
ABOUT GOD
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—who creates, redeems, and sustains all things. God is sovereign and loving, active in the world and in our lives. As Presbyterians, we affirm this Trinitarian faith through the Apostles’ Creed and the Nicene Creed. God rules with wisdom, calls us into relationship, and continually transforms people and communities through grace and the power of the Holy Spirit.
ABOUT HUMANITY
We believe that all people are created by God and made in God’s image, which gives every person value and purpose. However, because of sin, humanity is broken and separated from God, and we are in need of forgiveness, healing, and new life through Jesus Christ. Our greatest purpose is to glorify God and enjoy a relationship with Him forever. We also believe that people are not meant to live in isolation but in community, joined together by God’s grace and called to serve God’s mission in the world.
ABOUT SALVATION
We believe that salvation is the gift of God’s grace, made possible through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Because of sin, humanity is separated from God, but through Christ we are forgiven, reconciled, and made new. Salvation is not something we earn—it is freely given by God and received through faith. The Holy Spirit works in our hearts to lead us to repentance, strengthen our faith, and help us live as followers of Christ. In gratitude, we respond by loving God, serving others, and sharing the good news of Jesus Christ with the world.
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT & THE CHURCH
We believe the Holy Spirit is God—the giver of life who renews hearts, guides believers, and unites us with Jesus Christ. The Spirit inspires Scripture, leads us in worship, and gives us gifts to serve God and others.
We believe the Church is the Body of Christ, called to live in unity and love while embracing diversity. Christ is the Head of the Church, and through Him we share God’s message of hope, celebrate the sacraments, nurture faith, serve others, and work for justice in the world.
ABOUT THE BIBLE
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and our authoritative witness to Jesus Christ. Through Scripture, God reveals truth, guides our faith, and shows us how to live. The Holy Spirit inspired the writers of the Bible, making it a trustworthy and unique testimony to God’s work in the world. In our Reformed tradition, we use the confessions of the church to help us understand Scripture, but the Bible remains our final authority in all matters of faith and life.

OUR CORE VALUES
LIVING LIFE INDIVIDUALLY,
TOGETHER
Men and women everywhere are born to live together, not alone. As a closed-knit church, we believe we can all walk along our individual paths, together. With a strong shared sense of His love, each member of the Logan community can find a way to live a wholesome life of faith while sharing the struggles, happy moments and wishes with other members of the church.
